Open Windows could be managed by 'cabinets drawers' marked by 'handles' perhaps containing tabs (similar to the taskbar), around the edge of the monitor screen. Tap a handle to make a window active, shrinking it puts it to a tab, rather than back in the drawer. All related (by user indentification) windows would then be linked so all related windows are instantly available by tabs in those windows, that match the drawer tabs.

The keyboard on the touchpad would have to be very well designed, perhaps with F and J ridges, and even some other subtle ridges to facilitate the major work of typing.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02479600882274172677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4256871403471561163.post-79487075535915673542009-10-23T08:32:28.749-05:002009-10-23T08:32:28.749-05:00Seems like a waste to limit the windows to a singl...Seems like a waste to limit the windows to a single dimension along the X-axis. It would be nice to group multiple windows from the same application into vertical continums as well. Move left right to select the open application's most recently used window and then move up and down to find the desired window.

The current 1-D window navigator won't work very well for me with 67 windows open 12 applications.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
